| My name is Julie, actually my real name is Julia on my birth cirtificate but everyone just calls me Julie. I don't really care either way. What's in a name anyway? My last name I feel I should keep confidential for the purposes of this web site but I'll just say that it sucks anyway, and I wouldn't ever tell anyone unless they asked me specifically and i've known them awhile. I'm 23 years old and my birthday is May 27th(Memorial Day), which makes me a Gemini. For the record, I am not two faced as is the steriotype of my sign. We are just very multi-faceted and very interesting people. To any one who knows anything about astrology, my rising sign is scorpio, i think. I am a vegetarian, because I love animals and I think that the meat industry in this country is disgusting and wasteful. I love music and I really want to learn how to play the piano and guitar, but I can't afford lessons, so it is slow going. I think I need the guidance of a handsome teacher. ;) Some bands that I like are: (in no particular order) The Grateful Dead, The Beatles, Blind Melon, RadioHead, Nirvana, Morphine, PHISH, The Allman Brothers, Club D'elf, Led Zepplen, The Doors, Black Sabath, The Beastie Boys, A Tribe Called Quest, Guns and Roses, Pantera, Dream Theatre, Pink Floyd, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool, The Rolling Stones, Stifling Neglect, Mr. Bungle, Proof of Purchase, Candiria, System of a Down, Primus, Portis Head, The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Miles Davis, Ravi Shankar, Bach(one of the greatest composers of all time) and another great composer and friend of mine, Aaron McNelis. I hope you all get to enjoy his music one day as I have. I'm sure I've left out alot of bands and different music that i like but you get the picture. I am interested in Webdesign and programming and that is something that i've been teaching myself. Right now i'm beginning to learn how to write Javascripts. My favorite TV shows (when i do watch it) are South Park, Star Trek, The Simpsons, Frasier, Seinfeld, and Nature shows. I also love plants and especially HERBS. I love reading about all the medicinal properties of different kinds of plants and wildflowers, and I hope to have a big herb garden one day and be able to make homemade remdies for my family and friends. It really is an amazing subject. Maybe Ill post some of my research on here when I get the time.
